While going through the songs I found that most of the songs are from the perspective of men, the men who experience the ladies as some decorative item (aureate pilus, chisel shaped trunk, wide eyes, etc) Not only in the English songs, even in the Bollywood songs (hindi) this is very common.
There are so many popular numbers where the girl is shown as a mere item, such sort of particular that you can get in any shop.
