If your pupil information system (Sister) is currently integrated with Classroom through OneRoster API, yous can connect Classroom to your Sis. After you ready the connection, teachers can link their classes and export marks to the Sister.

  • Skyward version 2.0 users with the LMS API licence.

Connect Classroom to Infinite Campus

Eligibility

You tin can connect Classroom to Infinite Campus if yous:

  • Use Infinite Campus with a campus learning licence.
  • Use a SaaS solution that Space Campus fully hosts and manages.

Google is unable to provide support if you're a district that runs:

  • Infinite Campus software through on-bounds deployment.

Step one: Get your OAuth credentials

  1. Sign in to your Infinite Campus organisation administrator page.
  2. Search for and select Digital learning applications.
  3. Click Add application.
  4. Nether Browse applications, click Google Classroom.
  5. Optional: If Scan applications don't appear, bank check your campus learning licence:
    • Search and select Campus learning licensing and then At the elevation-right corner, check your licence condition.

Step two: Connect Classroom

  1. Get to classroom.google.com/admin.
  2. Next to 'Select your Sis', click the down pointer ""and then select your Sis.
  3. Click Connect to Google.

Connect to Google

  1. Nether 'MIS setup', click Connect.
  2. Enter the OAuth credentials that you recorded in step 1, in a higher place:
    • Host URL
    • Admission key
    • Underground code

Authorize SIS

  1. Click Authorise.
    Tip: If you get an error, refresh the page.
  2. Under 'Instructor permissions', tick the box next to 'Enable classwork and mark exporting'.
    Tip: If you untick the box, teachers tin't link their classes or export marks. If you make any changes to 'Teacher permissions', click Save.

Connect Classroom to Skyward

Eligibility

You tin can connect Classroom to Skyward if yous:

  • Are a school district that uses Skyward version 2.0 with the LMS API licence.

You can't connect Classroom to Skyward if your district runs:

  • Skyward's software in its own information centre.
  • A non-SIS provider, such equally AWS/GCP.

Footstep i. Set up Google as a OneRoster partner vendor and get your OAuth credentials

  1. On the Skyward Product setup page, under 'Organisation', click Product setup (PS) and thenContact admission (CA).
  2. Under 'Security' (SE) and 'Subgroup users' (US), select Secured user (SU) and then click Add together.
  3. Under 'Add secured user', select the proper noun type tracked for vendors and then Enter a name for Google. For case, enter the organisation name as Google.

Tip: Notation the proper noun for use in a later step.

  1. To continue, click Add entered name to secured users.
  2. Nether 'Security data', click Account data. The login 'GOOGLE' is the API Primal.
  3. Click Salvage
  4. In the Secured users listing, find the name that yous entered in step 3 above:
    • Check that the name is listed as an active secured user (Y).
    • At the bottom-right corner, click API.
  5. In the API Access window, click Generate a new secret. Note the key and secret. This information, along with the API URL, is used to connect to Classroom.
  6. After the new hugger-mugger is generated, return to your Skyward Production setup page. Go to 'Product setup' (PS)and then 'Contact admission' (CA) and then 'District setup' (DS) and then 'Configuration' (CF) and then select API configuration (AP).
  7. Document the Application URL and Authentication URL. This information is unique to your district. If the Application URL field is blank, contact Skyward support.


Tip: Your OneRoster API URL is equal to the Application URL unique to your district and the OneRoster endpoint (always /ims/oneroster/v1p1/). For case:

  1. Under 'OneRoster API line item configuration', set 'default category' to Assignments, or select some other option.
    Tip: The default category populates in the Skyward student record for assignments exported from Classroom. If at that place is no default category in the list, contact Skyward back up.
  2. Certificate the following OAuth credentials for Classroom to use in the adjacent stride:
    • Key (admission central)
    • Secret (Surreptitious lawmaking)
    • OneRoster API URL (Host URL)
  3. Click Save

Step 2: Connect Classroom

  1. Get to classroom.google.com/admin.

Connect Classroom to Aspen

Eligibility

Your school commune can connect Classroom to Aspen if you:

  • Use Follett Aspen version vi.2 or higher up
  • Utilise a SaaS solution that is fully hosted and managed by Follett Aspen

Administrators with questions about initial setup for Aspen can:

  • Contact your schoolhouse district's authorised Sis administrator

Step ane: Become your OAuth credentials

  1. Sign in to Pando as an Aspen ambassador.
  2. In the left-paw navigation, under 'Integration', click Google Classroom.
  3. Follow the configuration instructions provided in the help articles in Pando.

  1. Go to classroom.google.com/admin.

Disconnect Classroom from your Sister
